Job Summary

Formulates and defines System-wide scope and fulfills objectives for projects. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written. Designs, codes, tests, debugs and documents those programs. Works at the highest technical level of all phases of applications system analysis and programming activities. May be responsible for completion of a phase of a project. Provides leadership, guidance and training to assigned team.

Essential Functions
  • Evaluates existing policies and procedures; provides recommendations for improvements; develops and updates associated documentation; completes team assignments as required; seeks and shares performance improvement opportunities throughout the organization.
  • Assists with the creating and monitoring of capital and operational budgets. Assists with contract negotiation.
  • Provides status reporting as requested.
  • Mentors teammates by providing guidance, direction, challenging opportunities and constructive feedback necessary for teammate development.
  • Provides input to and conducts teammate evaluations and counseling sessions.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift objects that weigh up to 35 pounds. Work environment is subject to high-level visibility through verbal and written communications with senior hospital management, associated project deadlines, personnel evaluation, and counseling. Must be available for on-call support on a regular basis. Due to project requirements, overtime will be required, as needed. Each employee has the responsibility to work in a safe manner.

Education, Experience and Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required. Formal training in a variety of Information Systems technology preferred. Healthcare Industry background is preferred.

Base Pay: $120,328.00 - 180,544.00 annually

Base compensation listed within the listed pay range based on factors such as qualifications, skills, relevant experience, and/or training
Premium pay such as shift, on call, and more based on a teammate's job
Incentive pay for select positions
