We're currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Supply Chain Finance Controller, Rockford to join our growing team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The SC Finance Controller is responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities and reporting for the Rockford factory. Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and cost reports; managing inventory and production costs; ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations; and providing financial insight to support plant operations and decision-making. The role involves collaborating with plant management to track financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize profitability. The Plant Controller also supervises a team of financial staff and may handle audits, forecasts, and the development of financial strategies to meet plant goals. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential in this role. Additional responsibilities include:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential in this role. Additional responsibilities include:
- Annual budgets, latest estimate development and month end reporting and CAPEX reporting and analysis.
- Prepare production results reporting and ensure balancing to the TB. Analyse outliers and variances, and communicate appropriate metrics reflecting areas of cost savings opportunity for Management.
- Inventory, B/S, Income Statement reconciliation.
- Work with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to identify areas of support.
- Participate in cross-functional project, and act as the financial liaison for providing impact to financials for project results (i.e. continuous improvement project, quality initiatives, manufacturing process changes, etc.)
- Provide verbal & written communications for periodic reporting, forecasting, and costing concerns to managers, co-workers, and leadership team members.
- Identify costing concerns and best procedures to improve. Cross check data for SAP input accuracy and determine cost drivers for products and variances.
- Identify best practices for internal controls build around cost drivers, such as cost estimates, inventory, activity allocations, and supply chain activities.
- Determine cost drivers for products and variances for both imported items and internally produced items.
- Continually improve costing processes and accuracy by working with Corporate IT and internal customers for data input, reporting, etc. Work with other analysts to improve P&L forecasting.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Bachelor's degree required in finance or related field. MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in finance, manufacturing, or relevant experience required.
- Knowledge of both financial and managerial accounting best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Experience in manufacturing cost FP&A, specifically with product cost and inventory required.
- Effective Communication skills to influence internal customers.
- Experience working in SAP and Excel.
- Ability to control and improve processes that impact cost, and drive change when areas of control are lacking.
- Ability to develop clear analytics surrounding significant variances, and communicate accordingly.
