JOB SUMMARY
The Global Logistics Manager is responsible for the overall management, control and administration of the company's supply chain logistics operations. This includes but is not limited to the oversight of the import/export regulations. The role manages global 3PL logistics services, focusing on sourcing, procurement and vendor management while optimizing performance metrics, cost efficiency, and compliance.

Reporting to the Director of Global Supply Chain, this role will act as the definitive source of process knowledge, control, leadership, and innovation, supporting the company's vision of building a world-class logistics solution. The Global Logistics Manager will lead technology integration, drive sustainability initiatives, and manage risk mitigation strategies. A key responsibility is the continuous improvement of logistics processes through data-driven decision-making and team development.

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and manage logistics strategies for on-time, cost efficient delivery of materials to meet operational schedules and project deadlines
  • Oversee global transportation with a focus on optimization
  • Vet, onboard, and manage relationships with 3PL providers, logistics partners, and key vendors
  • Ensure full compliance with international trade regulations, customs documentation, and Incoterms
  • Act as a subject matter expert on import/export processes and trade compliance
  • Utilize data analytics tools (Power BI) to evaluate logistics performance and drive informed decision-making
  • Develop and track KPIs to monitor logistics performance
  • Prepare data-driven reports and presentations for stakeholders and management
  • Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions, geopolitical risks, and operational challenges
  • Manage logistics budget, forecast expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings without sacrificing service quality
  • Drive a culture of Lean methodologies and Six Sigma practices to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing logistics team
  • Ensure formal training programs for team members to enhance skills in systems, compliance, and process optimization
  • All other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Essential
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and logistics software tools
  • Clear understanding of schedule development and adherence to project timelines
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., PowerBI) for logistics forecasting and reporting
  • Expertise in logistics technology, ERP systems, and data analytics
  • Strong experience in leading and developing teams
  • Proven ability to drive change management initiatives
  • Strong problem-solving and data-driven decision-making abilities
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and cost optimization
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing internal stakeholders and external vendors
  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams across regions
  • High level of integrity, honesty, and attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency to prioritize critical tasks effectively
  • Ability to work across diverse cultures and regions with strong interpersonal skills

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements
  • Extensive drilling equipment knowledge
  • Bachelors in supply chain management, general business, or related experience
  • Minimum of 10+ years in global logistics or supply chain management roles
  • Strong knowledge of global trade compliance, customs processes, and Incoterms

Preferred
  • Managerial experience
