Description:

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager in Beijing. You will work on planning, direct and control all materials functions, including purchasing, inventory control, production planning, receiving, stores, shipping, and selection of carriers for the organization. This position will plan and manage the procurement of materials and services to effectively support the production requirements of the organization. This position will oversee the review and negotiation of purchase price, quality, availability, delivery and other factors necessary to ensure the overall conformance of materials purchased to manufacturing specifications and production objectives. This position will manage and coordinate material inventories and services.Your responsibilities include:

  • Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as sales, marketing, finance, production and quality
  • Implement new or improved supply chain processes
  • Manage the people and activities related to strategic purchasing, MRP, inventory control, warehousing and receiving. This includes the ownership of all software required to perform these functions
  • Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns and reduce waste
  • Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison and evaluation of supply chain factors (cost, quality, delivery)
  • Develop or implement plant warehousing strategies for production materials and finished products
  • Document supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, and position responsibilities
  • Manage supplier performance and procurement program success to assess suppliers ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
  • Monitor forecasts and schedules to identify changes and determine effect on supply chain activities
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned

You should have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field
  • Minimum of (5) years of progressive Supply Chain Management experience with a solid track record
  • MRP proficiency
  • Knowledge of automotive quality systems is a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft office tools
  • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Must be able to work in a shop environment with moderate noise levels
  • Must be willing to work weekends and extended shifts
