Greenfield is looking for a Supply Chain Optimization Manager to join its growing team. Greenfield Global's renewable energy business unit is experiencing accelerated development, necessitating the addition of internal and external resources to ensure service quality. In this role, you will be responsible for improving the efficiency, profitability, and reliability of the supply chain. This role involves process analysis, developing strategies to optimize procurement, production, storage, distribution, and compliance with industry regulations and sustainability initiatives. The position holder will work closely with procurement, logistics, operations, and finance teams to foster continuous improvement.

Your profile is actively sought if:
- You have a university or college degree in business administration with a specialization in logistics and supply chain management, or equivalent;
- You can be available on weekends and outside office hours to handle emergencies;
- You have a minimum of 7 years of related experience, preferably in a production environment;
- You have practical knowledge of ERP systems;
- Bilingualism is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Strategy and Optimization:
- Collaborate closely with team members to establish optimization strategies for the entire production, procurement, and distribution of Renewable Energy business unit products to maximize value for Greenfield;
- Use data analysis, forecasting models, and optimization tools to identify bottlenecks and improve supply chain efficiency while reducing costs;
Logistics Operations Management:
- Establish and maintain commercial and operational relationships with logistics service providers (transportation, handling, warehousing) to achieve savings while maintaining quality and reliability;
- Conduct audits of our logistics service providers to ensure compliance with Greenfield's operational, documentation, and safety standards;
- Implement and monitor control points and performance indicators to track the status of our supply chains;
- Collaborate with transport partners to optimize inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely delivery of raw materials and finished products;
- Monitor inventory to balance production needs, minimize avoidable expenses, and prevent stockouts both at our sites and at our customers' locations;
- Work closely with plant operations to synchronize production planning with inventory management;
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Identify and mitigate risks related to product availability, transportation disruptions, and regulatory compliance;
- Ensure compliance with requirements for the transport and storage of hazardous materials;
- Follow training and act according to established emergency plans to ensure general safety and continuity of operations.
Technology and Continuous Improvement:
- Implement and utilize supply chain management software (ERP, GeoMetrix, MarineTraffic, etc.) to improve efficiency and decision-making;
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in the field;
People and Culture:
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and development opportunities for team members;
- Offer training and development opportunities to ensure coverage during vacations or absences;
- Set annual goals for the team and provide appropriate feedback.
