We are looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Supply Chain Planning Analyst to manage (internal/external) daily production schedules and ensure accurate, timely data input into our SAP/MRP systems. This role is crucial in supporting the production floor by aligning schedules with material availability, capacity constraints, and customer demand. The ideal candidate will have effective communication concepts, be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and possess strong experience in ERP systems, particularly SAP/EOMP.

What You Will Do:
  • Create, maintain, and adjust factory production schedules to meet delivery commitments and optimize manufacturing efficiency.
  • Input and maintain accurate production orders, and material master data in the SAP/MRP system.
  • Coordinate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability and schedule adherence.
  • Monitor progress against the production schedule and adjust plans as necessary to address issues such as delays, shortages, or changes in demand.
  • Run and review MRP results and take necessary follow-up actions (e.g., create/change/cancel production orders).
  • Ensure that all data entry into SAP/EOMP is accurate, timely, and compliant with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Generate daily/weekly reports on schedule performance, material availability, and order status.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to streamline scheduling processes and improve data accuracy and system utilization.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.


Degree Requirement:
Degree or equivalent experience desired

What You Will Have (Basic Skills Required):

Production Scheduling and Control: Knowledge of procedures and tools for scheduling and controlling production runs.

Level Extensive Experience:
  • Manages the job cycle to ensure completion of jobs according to agreed-upon schedules.
  • Communicates with customers and sales staff on scheduled and unscheduled production work.
  • Resolves critical or costly workflow problem areas and recommends improvements.
  • Schedules and oversees all production runs for a specific plant or assembly line.
  • Produces master schedules for overall plant activities; shows all dependencies and contingencies.
  • Oversees production acceptance testing and associated performance measures


Data Gathering & Analysis: Knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques, and processes; ability to collect and synthesize data from a variety of stakeholders and sources in an objective manner to reach a conclusion, goal, or judgment.

Level Working Knowledge:
  • Follows proper data gathering and analysis processes and policies.
  • Reports problems that arise in the data collection process.
  • Participates in gathering and analyzing an organization's data based on requirements.
  • Documents data from various sources and in various formats.
  • Utilizes basic data collection and evaluation tools and techniques.

  • Reports variances and makes agreed-upon corrections.

Forecasting: Knowledge of forecasting tools, approaches and practices.

  • Participates in preparation of short-term forecasts for a specific product or site.
  • Gathers and analyzes demand data with specific tools and procedures.
  • Locates useful information and sources of input used in weekly, monthly and quarterly forecasts.
  • Research seasonal trends for a major product or product line.
  • Explains common types of business conditions and activities that impact demand.

Summary Pay Range:
$79,800.00 - $119,760.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
