The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for developing and leading the coordination between manufacturing and customer expectations to forecast demand and create supply plans that ensure availability of materials and products. The Supply Planning Manager will have responsibility for facilitating the S&OP supply management process including managing assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, performing gap/bridge customer analysis, and leading monthly supply reviews. A key role of this job is to monitor forecasts and customer patterns to identify changes to determine their effect on supply chain activities. This incumbent will work closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service as well as external customers to implement & execute strategic planning strategies.

This incumbent will work closely with Operations, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service as well as external customers to implement & execute strategic planning strategies.
Responsibilities
- Help facilitate the S&OP supply management process, including managing assumptions, identifying risks and opportunities, performing customer gap/bridge analysis, and supporting monthly supply reviews
- Monitor forecasts and customer patterns in order to proactively identify and drive needed actions
- Effective handling of order exceptions and customer escalations
- Enforce scheduling absolutes and work as mentor for schedulers on execution of the supply plan
- Support plants in building and maintaining a production schedule focused on minimizing working capital and balancing efficiency and flexibility in meeting customer demand.
- Support maintenance and monthly updates of plant capacity plans
- Conduct normal cadence MRP calls with customer service, commercial, and operations
- Manage planned downtime (holidays, shutdown, maintenance) while working with Operations
- Develop and execute stocking policies on all materials (FGs and raws) to effectively execute the supply plan
- Master data management
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Mathematics, Finance/Accounting, Logistics or equivalent skills/experience.
- 5 years of experiences working in supply planning or related field preferred.
- Background in non-woven or related industry is a plus.
- Strong in data analytics, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills required
- Proficient with Excel and strong understanding of SAP-S4 and advanced planning systems
- Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, interpreting, and communicating data
