- Lead the deployment of global inventory strategies and targets aligned to support industry and business unit plans, new product launches, commercial campaigns and forecasted demand while achieving key performance metrics.
- Ability to define trends across industries and articulate their impact to clients' business and strategic choices, particularly as it relates to purpose-driven focus areas and opportunities for innovation
- Ensure that industry best practices are adopted in implementing the business processes into the ERP Systems and roadmaps are oriented to deliver business and technology strategy, value creation objectives, and measurable key performance indicators.
- Drive global inventory analytics and optimization for the business to support weekly, monthly, and quarterly IBP process.
- Provides professional business support as an expert inventory analyst in a matrix environment.
- Runs complex inventory scenarios and makes sound recommendations based on data as input for IBP Decisions.
- Drive portfolio management, propose make to stock and make to order, forecast, or stock decisions. Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to align and maintain segmentation strategy, reorder point levels and safety stock levels.
- Ensures data integrity throughout planning systems and models, including but not limited to target stock levels, yields, lead times, etc.
- Responsible for employee recruitment, development plans, performance reviews and succession plan for their staff, setting objectives in line with Manufacturing strategy and goals. Provides motivation, coaching and direction to all direct reports to ensure they reach their full potential.
- Participate in expanding the company's digital platforms, increase use of artificial intelligence and analytics to drive manufacturing 4.0.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Accounting preferred or equivalent experience
Skills and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, inventory, supply planning, demand management
- Experience working with senior executives crafting and implementing strategies for growth and margin improvement at the corporate, business, or product level
- Experience leading and delivering engagements with resources in multiple locations
- Ability to ask direct questions and reply with data-driven answers
- Excellent understanding of Inventory Management principles and systems
- Previous experience with managing and developing people preferred
- Advanced strategic and analytical thinking, problem solving, and root cause analysis combined with proven ability to communicate those analysis
- Capable of communicating and influencing at all levels within the organization
- Experience in directing, planning and scheduling work for themselves and their team
- Determination to provide accurate and timely information
