What Will You Be Involved With?
- Become an expert on the TT platform, from front-end functionality to technical architecture
- Support clients of our e-trading platform Quoting and Execution Management System (QEMS), ensuring smooth and efficient trading operations.
- Maintain and manage SQL / Postgres database running on Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Interact with customers and internal stakeholders to isolate and fix product issues.
- Provide design, reliability and other technical feedback to our Engineering & Product teams.
- Conduct monitoring and rigorous testing post-bug fixes to ensure platform stability
- Responsible for maintaining and updating our e-trading platform across various UAT and PROD environments on various OS (Linux, AWS, and Windows servers)
- Provide updates to our technical product documentation as issues are identified and fixed.
- Efficiently manage multiple incidents simultaneously in a high pressured environment
- Become an expert at analyzing both front-end and back-end logs
- Interact with our customers regularly to understand issues and provide updates
- Replicate software issues to diagnose and resolve incidents quickly
- Work with QA team to ensure testing on new releases is completed to a high standard, every time.
- Cross-train with global counterparts to ensure depth of application knowledge and client coverage.
What Will You Bring to the Table?
Technical Background:
- Experience in supporting both Fixed Income and Derivatives trading platforms, with corresponding market knowledge.
- Proficient in Linux with strong Bash scripting skills for task automation.
- Familiarity with Jenkins, AWS tools, and support tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, and ELK/Kibana.
Professional Skills:
- Prior experience in technical support or client-facing roles is essential
- Exceptional customer service skills, including excellent telephone manner and written communication.
- Strong investigative and diagnostic abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Competent IT literacy across multiple operating systems (Windows, OS X, Linux).
Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills:
- Demonstrates dependability, adaptability, professionalism, and initiative.
- Strong orientation towards teamwork, interaction, and collaboration.
Additional Qualifications:
- Fluency in English (Business Level) with excellent language skills.
- Familiarity with FIX Protocol 4 or higher is a plus.
- A willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends to meet operational requirements.
