This role involves overseeing the operational, clinical, and financial aspects of the Surgery Center, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving continuous improvement across all areas.
Responsibilities and Expectations
- Oversee the daily operations of the facility.
- Serve as a liaison between the Governing Board, the Medical Staff, and all departments of the facility, along with any appointed committees.
- Report key activities and updates concerning the facility to the Governing Board at regular intervals.
- Appoint a responsible individual to oversee the facility in the absence of the Administrator.
- Plan for the services offered by the facility and ensure smooth operation across all departments.
- Manage overall operations as outlined in the applicable partnership or operational agreement.
- Lead discussions and present updates during regular operations review meetings with senior leadership teams.
Skills and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) required
- Proven leadership experience in outpatient surgery or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) management
- Strong understanding of ASC operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance
- Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and personnel effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in an ASC or hospital surgical setting
- Expertise in ASC operations, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement processes
