Description:
This position requires an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse.
The shift schedule is 10-hour daytime shifts, with 40 hours per week.
There is a call requirement for weekdays and weekends.
The weekend duty is required every other weekend.
The unit handles various surgeries such as heart, neuro, ortho, and general.
There are 18 beds in the unit.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 RN and one operating room technician per case.
Charting is done using the Epic system.
The uniform policy requires navy blue scrub color.
Special procedures involve endoscopy and a variety of surgeries.
