Job Description:
- Prepare and organize the operating room and sterile instruments for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons and nurses during surgery by passing instruments and supplies.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and follow infection control policies.
- Monitor and document surgical counts of instruments and supplies.
- Ensure the safe handling of specimens and medical waste.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of surgical technologist duties and responsibilities.
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and training sessions.
- Adapt to various cases and rotate shifts as required.
