Sustainable Solutions Specialist

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Sustainable Solutions Specialist for our Platinum Accounts team.

This detail-oriented individual will have the opportunity to become an internal expert level resource in all things waste related!

This position reports to our Global Sustainability Director. This role is hybridand will be part of our Corporate team that is based in Somerville, MA.

Essential responsibilities:
  • Support the national sales team with bid responses (pricing, content, strategy, process codes)
  • Research and shepherd new vendors through TEI onboarding to support regional growth working with compliance, contracts, finance and GM teams
  • Actively seek to improve margin at platinum accounts in conjunction with the CEM/AM and Cost Recovery (account reviews), CPQ approvals
  • Working with approvals group to ensure waste is routed/managed as it was proposed or work with CEM/AM to address off contract issues
  • Assist in implementing sustainable solutions both internally and externally - ex. transition from road to rail, recycling programs, beneficial reuse options, waste consolidation programs and logistics - differentiate TEI from our competitors
  • Working with third party vendors/TSDF's/transporters on pricing for large opportunities
  • Be an internal EXPERT resource in all things waste related.

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in the hazardous waste industry.
  • Detailed knowledge of RCRA and DOT regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work as a member of a team as well as individually.
  • Data driven and detail oriented.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Proficient Microsoft Word and Outlook skills.
