We're looking for a SVP, Communications to join our rising team. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial-minded, high-achieving account leader who will be instrumental in managing and growing our PR teams that support our marquee accounts. This role will serve as aSenior Vice President and member of the agency's Senior Leadership Team working primarily across key consumer brand assignments, as well as helping to drive other priority internal/external agency initiatives.

This role is full-time, requires a hybrid work schedule, and is available only in New York City.

Responsibilities

Overview:

The ideal candidate will be a communications leader, mentor and project manager with the ability to multitask, connect teams and understand how to create and execute modern, integrated programs in partnership with different internal and external departments (creative, strategy, production, creators & casting, media relations, etc...) We're looking for someone who has a strong track record creating strategic, 360-consumer campaigns that breakthrough today's cluttered media landscape. In addition to team management and mentorship experience, we are also looking for someone who can be a part of new business and management decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Be a thought-partner for senior-level clients by understanding their business and driving results while helping to maintain and deepen the agency's client relationship
  • Develop keen understanding for the unique business objectives of each client, and help develop integrated communications strategies and activations to meet those goals and drive tangible results
  • Ensure that public relations, social, content and influencer strategies are aligned with the clients' overarching objectives with the ability to partner with these different groups internally or as part of an agency team
  • Be proactive, anticipate client needs and keep multiple activities moving
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to agency teams
  • Understands current knowledge of trends, current media landscape and what breaks through, and confidently provide strategic point-of-views to clients
  • Lead new business pitch development and/or presentations
  • Serve on the leadership team, drive office culture and be a mentor to staff
  • Develop and deliver informed strategic and creative recommendations based on understanding of best practices across each client's category and competitive set
  • Manage clients, teams, account budgets and third-party resources - driving the engine of client service
  • Create strategic plans, decks and presentations on behalf of agency and its clients, including generating ongoing new ideas and value beyond the scope of current client assignments


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 12+ years of experience
  • Experience leading and mentoring a diverse team
  • Experience in working across an IAT and executing multi-channel, integrated programs
  • Collaborate, multi-task and work efficiently with precise attention to detail
  • Proven track record in client leadership and management
  • Possess a passion for storytelling and excitement to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment
  • Be extremely self-motivated, curious, organized and reliable
  • Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy building a team from the ground up and creating new systems, policies and company culture
  • Pluses: led and/or took part in new business pitch process to success, prior agency experience; brand partnerships; large-scale event activations

The Company is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation range for this role is $190,000-$210,000 and this position is eligible for benefits that include medical insurance (health, dental, and vision), retirement plan, paid time off, paid parental leave, new business and employee referral bonuses, etc. Please note that the compensation information provided is a good faith estimate for New York City based hires only and is provided pursuant to the New York City Pay Transparency Law. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as candidates' relevant work experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
