This position is part of the Flex Pay Product Management team, within the broader US Branded Cards & Unsecured Lending organization. The Flex Pay Product Management team is responsible for managing the products designed to meet evolving and growing consumer needs related to on-card installment lending. The team is tasked with managing and driving Revenue from our existing product suite, and also working closely with cross functional partners to manage product feature backlogs, marketing strategy, digital experience, servicing experience, and overall operational excellence.
The SVP, Flex (BNPL) Pay Product Management position will shape and advance Citi's on-card BNPL strategy, informed by a deep understanding of customer needs and behaviors, the competitive landscape and hands on BNPL product management. This role will be responsible for the overall Flex Pay product strategy, customer acquisition and portfolio performance. The Flex Product Manager will partner closely with Marketing, Digital, Product Development, Decision Management, Risk and Operations and focus on optimizing marketing and digital strategy, enhancing digital user experience, channel performance and analytics, call center training and sales support, product research, and customer communications for Flex Pay. The candidate will play a significant role on the Lending leadership team.

Key Responsibilities
- Set and deliver against product growth plans and channel strategies.
- Establish clear KPIs for success and enable strategy and product changes to meet KPIs.
- Drive Go To Market strategy in collaboration with Marketing partners as new products/features are launched.
- Drive Flex Pay product acquisition strategy and execution focusing on increasing awareness, adoption and usage at both POS and post purchase
- Work closely with internal business development, partner management and tech teams to design and implement integrated solutions that drive growth and adoption of Flex Pay @ POS
- Work in close collaboration with cross functional team (Marketing, Analytics, Digital, and Operations) on delivering best in class customer experience, increasing traffic, enhancing funnel conversion rates, and ensuring operational excellence
- Drive strategies to drive repeat usage and stickiness and high relevels of engagement with Citi Cards.
- Closely track performance, monitor reports and data to track sales and identify opportunities for enhancement and optimization
- Manage ongoing testing programs to support Flex Product user experience and growth opportunities
- Monitor external landscape to track regulatory developments, competitive activity (FI and non FI) and industry trends with respect to payments, merchants, platforms. Recommend and adopt best practices pertaining to driving best customer experience.
- Update senior leaders on progress and influence the organization to support the lending growth agenda
- Develop Flex product knowledge across the team, including product constructs, customer needs, competitive environment, user experiences, and operations and lending economics.
Candidate Qualifications
- 8+ years in product and/or marketing within financial services of which at least 2 years experience must be with product and marketing of BNPL products at point of sale (POS)
- Knowledge of payment technologies including digital wallets.
- Deep understanding of BNPL industry, business model, competitors, marketing strategies, P&L drivers, and best practices
- Understanding of BNPL related regulatory requirements, fraud and risk management, security standards.
- Proficient in developing financial models and business cases to project future cash flows and financial performance
- Proficient in analyzing consumer data to identify trends, patterns, and potential risks to business model
- Proven strategic thinker with demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, who is able to respond quickly and creatively to complex issues, engage with diverse internal stakeholders (e.g., business leaders, oversight functions, etc.) and manage through influence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation and facilitation skills to senior audience members
- Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree preferred.
