Job Description

At the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL), we are committed to delivering top-notch IT solutions and support to our clients. Our dynamic team is dedicated to innovation and excellence in technology. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Power Platform Administrator to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional IT services. As a Senior Power Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the administration, optimization and ongoing support of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) across the organization. You will work closely with IT professionals, developers and cybersecurity to ensure the platform is being used efficiently, securely and effectively, as well as provide guidance on best practices, governance, security and scalability.

Require Duties
Develop and implement governance, security, and best practices for Power Platform.
Configure, manage and secure Power Platform via the Power Platform Admin Center
Manage and monitor Power Platform solutions via the COE Toolkit
Design and configure Power Platform DLP policies.
Manage Power Platform On-premises Data Gateway
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing Power Platform and related technologies.
Life cycle management of Power Platform environments/workspaces
Collaborate with customers to architect and design Power Platform solutions.
Update/maintain PowerShell scripts and automations

Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience; or
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.


Preferred Skills
Advanced knowledge in Power Platform infrastructure including (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc.)
Proficient with API's and their integration with SharePoint and Power Platform
Proficient in PowerShell scripting and automation
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365

Certifications/Trainings:
PL-900 Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals
PL-500: Microsoft Power Automate RPA Developer
PL-300T00-A: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst

Pay Range

$83,600.00 - $130,700.00 annually

Salary information provided is a general guide line only. Annual salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A. Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations. For nearly 70 years, the Naval Nuclear Laboratory has developed advanced nuclear propulsion technology, provided technical support, and trained world-class nuclear operators to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our nation's submarine and aircraft carrier Fleets. The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is a national asset solely dedicated to the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.
