SUMMARY
The Application Analyst will be responsible for supporting our operating system, which includes routing, scheduling, billing, contract management, CRM and mobile applications. Responsibilities include a solid working knowledge of and providing support to users of the application, creating, performing and documenting testing scenarios on in-development enhancements, assessing issues and proposing alternative solutions to end users and implementing application upgrades including set-up, testing and training. The Application Analyst will work closely with all corporate and field operations personnel.

Responsibilities include a solid working knowledge of and providing support to users of the application, creating, performing and documenting testing scenarios on in-development enhancements, assessing issues and proposing alternative solutions to end users and implementing application upgrades including set-up, testing and training. The Application Analyst will work closely with all corporate and field operations personnel.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES
- Develop a working knowledge of a route-based service company's workflow and processes
- Hands on experience with performance testing for applications with difference protocols
- Ability to identify, plan and prioritize performance test scenarios, identify any pre-requisites required to carry out the performance testing and analyze the performance test results and recommend set-up and work flow considerations
- Ability to write sequel queries to extract data for reporting and/or data validation
- Ability to perform ad-hoc analyses and build standardized reporting in Excel, including communicating to business partners the outcomes and insights identified in those reports
- Assist with end user training and provide ongoing support through maintenance and troubleshooting
- Assist in requirements gathering of new and/or existing functionality needs
- Good knowledge of application testing on mobile applications with IOS versions
- Interact with other members of the IT team and third-party application developers to ensure highest quality product and efficiency
- Ability to work with other departments on projects and initiatives that support the goals of the department
- Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Management or related field.
- Experience with systems and user support (3+ years)
- Experience with systems testing and implementation (5+ years)
- TSQL language expertise (3+ years)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of the waste industry or a route-based service company a plus
- Experience with creating SQL data inquiries and data extracts
- Excellent data analysis, including proficiency with advanced Excel functions and data visualization, skill is required
- Ability to perform data munging/wrangling, classification, and cleansing
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) are required
- Familiarity with Great Plains and Jet Reports a plus
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment; multi-task effectively and be a motivated and quick learner
- Ability to work in an ever-changing work environment

- Able to work an agreed upon standard schedule
- Additional hours as job duties demand
TRAVEL - OTHER
- Travel to domestic Trilogy facilities up to 10%
- Must have a current, valid driver's license
