This role is more than a leadership position. It's your opportunity tobecome the principal architect of a newly integrated compliance program for oneof the most influential healthcare systems across Montana and Wyoming.

Shape a Unified Future in Compliance

As System Chief Compliance Officer, you'll design and implementthe first fully integrated compliance structure for our combined system. You'llbring together two previously independent departments, building one cohesiveprogram rooted in transparency, accountability, and collaboration.

From aligning teams to developing shared standards, your leadership willdefine how we uphold ethics, privacy, and regulatory integrity across theenterprise.

You'll advise the Board of Directors and executive leadership,influencing how we serve our communities through the lens of compliance andethical excellence-across nine hospitals, 20+ partnerships, and a workforce ofover 9,000 employees and 1,200 providers.

What You'll Lead

Merge and unify two legacy compliance teams into one integrated system-wide department
Develop and lead an enterprise-wide compliance program that meets evolving regulatory demands with clarity and strength
Advise the Board and system leaders on risk mitigation, policy development, audit strategy, and education
Oversee investigations, HIPAA compliance, risk assessments, and internal reporting
Inspire and empower teams with a shared mission and a consistent standard of excellence

What You Bring
Minimum of 10 years of progressive executive leadership in healthcare compliance and privacy within a large hospital or hospital system (required)
Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or related field (Master's or JD strongly preferred)
CHC or CHPS certification (required)
Proven success implementing system-wide frameworks and leading teams through large-scale transformation
Exceptional communication and strategic thinking skills, with a strong command of the regulatory landscape

This position offers the flexibility to be based in either:
Billings, Montana - Montana's largest city and a growing medical hub with strong community values and easy access to the outdoors
Kalispell, Montana - Nestled in the Flathead Valley, just minutes from Glacier National Park and surrounded by breathtaking beauty
