We're looking for an System Development Engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable working with a team of top-notch developers and collaborating with our systems and software engineering teams. Key job responsibilities

We're looking for an Integration Engineer to join VIPA (Vehicle Integration and Performance Assessment) who combines strong technical and analytical capabilities with a scientific mindset for solving complex drone software integration challenges. This person must be comfortable:

Working with cross-functional teams to integrate, analyze and test drone software

Developing Python scripts to test and characterize system performance

Collaborating on critical certification milestones for drone software systems

Conducting root cause analysis and developing evidence-based solutions

Applying disciplined measurement and statistical methods to verify software

Developing and maintaining robust testing infrastructure and verification processes

The ideal candidate embraces our tenets of relentless optimization, disciplined measurement, scientific methodology, and relentless pursuit of certification milestones. You'll work with top-tier engineers to ensure Prime Air's drone software meets or exceeds design expectations across all stages of development.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting infrastructure

- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust

- Experience with Linux/Unix

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
