System Engineer

• In this position, you will join an existing team providing system engineering support to Security Sustainment applications. The applications supported are front-end technologies, i.e., JavaScript (AngularJS, Vue.js, Node.js). The role requires a self-motivated individual that is comfortable working in a team environment. This position will require working in a fast-paced team and a willingness to take on challenges to upgrade or modify sustainment systems. This individual must be willing to tackle challenges sometimes without a lot of guidance or information, and collaborating in a fast-paced, highly visible team environment.
• Primary responsibilities will be working with the Lead Systems Engineer, Government leadership and the development team to establish priorities, conduct requirements analysis, formalize process design and implementation, contribute to system engineering documentation, providing end-user customer support, and with a focus on testing support.
• Collaborate with the team for releases or migrations to new environments.
• Collaborate with security for any compliancy issues and remediate any active liens.
• Troubleshoot and maintain integrity to improve reliability and performance of system.

Desired Skills:

• Experience executing test procedures
• Experience with Atlassian Suite products including Confluence & Managing Jira
• Experience with 508 Compliance
• Experience with process design and implementation
