This role requires a holistic approach to system design, ensuring compliance with client requirements and government standards, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver solutions that meet operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Use a holistic approach to design, develop, evaluate, and modify systems and products throughout their lifecycle.
- Generate and document quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions, system planning, design, and acquisition logistics.
- Verify that requirements meet client needs and comply with government standards through formal verification methods.
- Translate high-level product development strategies into detailed system requirement specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering disciplines to develop lower-level implementation requirements.
- Establish and coordinate standards, practices, and procedures for overall product development.
- Design system interfaces and integrate system elements to ensure cohesive operation.
- Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures.
- Act as a liaison for customer support and business development activities to shape and understand requirements.
- Participate in conceptual design and document design concepts.
- Conduct design reviews of hardware and software components to ensure compliance and traceability of requirements.
- Generate system-level requirements verification procedures and customer acceptance test procedures.
- Review test plans and procedures to meet contractual requirements and participate in the testing process to validate requirements.
Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of experience, Master's degree with 6 years of experience, or PhD with 3 years of experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- IAT Level II Certification.
- Experience in reverse engineering existing deployments.
Qualifications
- IAT Level III Certification.
- Scripting experience in PowerShell, JAVA, or similar languages.
