The Client Services, Security, Software and Solutions (C4S) team under CCG's Platform Software Engineering (CPE) organization is seeking an experienced software development Engineer to work alongside of talented software professionals to engineer and deliver industry leading software solutions and technologies on Intel's client platforms. C4S team focuses on the architecture, design, development, integration, and validation of multiple products/solutions that optimizes the power/performance of client platforms as well as introduces new end user experiences through AI/ML algorithms and custom optimizations.

In this role, you will work with a medium sized team directly and collaborate cross functional Agile team to deliver one or more C4S SW products that goes to all our major OEM customers. The position requires SOLID software development acumen, innovation, understanding and communicating complex solutions, and collaborating with partner organizations and customers.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Designing, building, and validating software that enables the interaction between system software (OS, drivers) and applications, including frameworks and runtime engines.
  • Contributing to the development of external frameworks that enable others to optimize their software for Intel architectures.
  • May work within or across organizations including SIV, DAC, SoC, Firmware, Power and Performance, Thermal, Gaming or Connectivity to support, platform frameworks, API abstraction layers, and device drivers and applications.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related STEM degree with 6+ years industry experience with Software development
  • OR Master's degree in Computer Engineer, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related STEM degree with 4+ years industry experience with Software development
  • Your experience should be in following;
    • Development tools like Visual Studio, Windows SDK
    • 2+ years of experience with windows internals, github, Wix or cmake
    • 2+ Years on Object oriented Programming Languages like C++
    • 1+ years of experience with Process definition, milestones and workflow for Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC) and product development lifecycles (PLC)
    • 1+ Years of experience with Integration with APIs, databases and Cloud-based services


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience of the following:
    • Database management of requirements, tests, defects.
    • Experience with requirements engineering databases
    • Technical design or development of tool-based solutions or methodology
    • Windows Performance Analyzer, profiling tools and memory management
    • Azure Storage Solutions and Services
    • Experience with User space and Kernel debugging.
    • System Programming: Windows APIs, Multithreading
  • 1+ years of experience with requirement management

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$146,520.00-$206,860.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
