Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing, implementing, as well as maintaining, servers, networks, and cloud-based systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Oversee the management, configuration, and optimization of Office 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive, to enhance collaboration and productivity across the organization.
- Implement and manage Azure cloud solutions, focusing on identity management, security protocols, and resource optimization to support scalable and secure IT operations.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN environments, firewalls, switches, and wireless systems to ensure secure and efficient firm-wide communication.
- Continuously monitor network performance and security using various tools, to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
- Collaborate with firm vendors to manage and implement infrastructure and cybersecurity projects.
- Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patch management for on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring compliance with security and performance standards.
- Utilize PowerShell and Python to automate tasks, improve workflows, and enhance system administration efficiency.
- Collaborate with the Director to implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including monitoring systems for vulnerabilities, patch management, managing firewalls, and responding to security incidents specific to the legal sector.
- Ensure proper network access control and implement multi-factor authentication (MFA) to enhance security.
- Stay informed about industry trends, including AI integration, to recommend and implement innovative solutions that enhance legal workflows and infrastructure efficiency in a law firm environment.
- Assist in the implementation and testing of disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity, particularly in compliance with the strict data retention and protection requirements of the legal industry.
- Serve as an escalation resource for the IT Support Center.
- Contributes to exceptional end-user experience while supporting organizational goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in systems and network engineering roles, preferably within a law firm environment.
- Expertise in managing and troubleshooting networks (LAN/WAN), servers (Windows/Linux), and cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
- Proficiency in working with Fortinet, Meraki, SharePoint, Citrix, and Office 365 platforms.
- Experience with PowerShell and Python for system administration and automation tasks.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, tools, and best practices (including access control, firewalls, VPNs, and vulnerability management) specific to legal environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Experience in legal IT systems, compliance requirements, or AI technologies is a plus.
