Dell Servers PE750/PE760
Scope Details
dditional detail 8/5:We need a storage engineer with server experience.
Design, deliver, install, and integrate fifteen (15) R760s servers, that are in family with the R760 servers
Dell Servers including PE750/PE760 models.
Dell Server administration and support.
Knowledge/Experience with Dell storage arrays and Cisco switches is helpful.
Dell server knowledge for administration, optimization, troubleshooting, and working alongside a Dell team helpful as well.
DUTIES:
Design, implement, manage, and optimize Dell server and storage system, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and performance, while also troubleshooting issues and collaborating with others
Plans, install, configure, and tune SAN and storage hardware/software solutions
Manages storage protocols like iSCSI, NFS, and Fiber Channel
Work with various storage architectures like SAN, NAS, and object storage
Assess current capacity, predicts future needs, and plans for upgrades or changes
Monitor analyzes, and optimizes storage performance to meet business requirements
Ensure data integrity through mechanisms like RAID and storage replication
Develop and implements data backup and recovery strategies
Implements security measures to protect stored data and system
Troubleshoot storage-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, connectivity problems, and data access issues
Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify and resolve problems
Monitor the storage area network (SAN)
Apply patches, upgrade software, and ensure that data is secured
