Systems Administrator (Hybrid) - Multiple Locations

Crane NXT requires a System Administrator who will work with us to adopt, implement, and leverage our leading-edge technology. As part of a larger team, this versatile role provides both first and second level support to corporate associates, whether they are on-site or travelling anywhere around the globe. Crane NXT is a fast-paced environment, where technology needs to run both smoothly and efficiently for everyone.

*The Systems Administrator can be based out of the following locations:

• Malvern, PA
• Waltham, MA
• Stamford, CT

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Support Microsoft Windows server technologies (Server 2016/2019) operating systems, Exchange Online, DNS and Active Directory, and virtualization platforms.
• Supporting and administering Azure AD.
• Configure and install client, server, and networking equipment. Manage access controls including user accounts, VPN, and multifactor authentication.
• Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies, including clients, cloud services, VoIP phones, cell phones, on-demand web meetings/collaboration, and client backup solutions.
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to established standards.
• Identify and resolve issues and service outages.
• Ensure backup and recovery is consistently completed.
• Periodic support for off-site Leadership conferences, Board-of-Director and Shareholder meetings.
• Assist in the management of backup power generator.
• Assist with the remediation of security vulnerabilities.
• Assist with implementing and managing global security initiatives.
• Sarbanes-Oxley audit preparations.
• Disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Support for Global Information Security investigations.
• Team participation in global projects along with Crane NXT's broader IT community.
• Due to the nature of our environment, some after-hours support will be required in support of end-user requirements, leadership meetings, and technical upgrades.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Technology or Computer Science.
• ITIL Practitioner Certification or greater.
• Microsoft Certifications preferred: MCSE and MOS.

• Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
• PowerShell knowledge is beneficial but not required.
• VMware ESXi hypervisor.
• Veeam backup and recovery.
• Meraki Wi-Fi solutions.
• Understanding of TCP/IP networking, subnetting and routing.
• Working knowledge of firewalls and internet protocols (pptp, http, https, smtp, & rpc).
• Very strong communication and customer oriented interpersonal skills.
• Solid troubleshooting ability for network, server and desktop applications
