Systems Administrator III

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Administrator III to join our IT Solutions Center (ITSC) team. In this role, you will support infrastructure services critical to the operations of ETF, focusing on network and server hardware, software, and services. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality services, ensure security compliance, and manage technical solutions within a hybrid-cloud environment. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Infrastructure Team Lead with technical and business analysis for infrastructure services.
• Collaborate with BITS managers, DET, and other stakeholders to provide consistent, coordinated IT services.
• Manage security consultation and administration, ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks, implementing security measures to protect infrastructure services.
• Perform technical troubleshooting to resolve system issues effectively.
• Support service provisioning and infrastructure hosting in a hybrid-cloud environment.
• Recommend configurations for hybrid-cloud hosted virtualized servers, security content filters, and network systems.
• Manage and configure ManageEngine Endpoint Central for application deployment, Windows desktop images, and Office 365 Suite applications.
• Automate tasks to enhance productivity using PowerShell, Graph API, and other scripting tools.
• Actively participate in projects from inception to completion, providing consulting support across technical services.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience managing and supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Directory services in a hybrid-cloud environment, including Microsoft Entra-ID, Active Directory, OKTA, Kerberos, LDAP, DFS, Certificate Services, and directory synchronization.
• 8+ years of knowledge in Group Policy management, Endpoint Security, Virtual Server Snapshots, Trust relationships, and Active Directory Sites and Services.
• 5+ years of experience in security and vulnerability management, with expertise in hybrid-cloud security measures to mitigate risks effectively.
• 5+ years of experience in desktop image creation, maintenance, and software packaging/deployment using ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
• Proficient in automation scripting, particularly with PowerShell and Graph API. Experience with Python and Bash is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with hybrid-cloud environments, SaaS integrations, and virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge of advanced security frameworks and compliance standards.
• Experience in project management and technical leadership roles.

Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or similar certifications (preferred).
• Security certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ (optional but advantageous).
