Systems Administrator (Research)

As a Systems Administrator (Research) at Blackspoke, you will support advanced IT infrastructures, ensuring robust end-user services and effective system management.

What you will be working on:

As the Systems Administrator (Research), you will:

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 desktop support services across a diverse user base, including on-call support for desktop software.
• Support end user devices such as workstations, monitors, voice devices, printers, scanners, and personal IT devices.
• Manage desktop imaging, home directory and profile support services.
• Offer operations services for directory, authentication, user account management, and DNS/DHCP domain services.
• Perform patch management for Windows devices across multiple networks and execute software installations and upgrades.
• Develop technical solutions for managing networks, software, hardware configurations, and architectures.

What you will bring to us (Must):

• Technical Training, Certification(s), or a relevant Degree.
• 5+ years of related experience in systems administration.
• Strong ability to work seamlessly in a team environment.
• Experience with Service+.
• Proficiency in software deployment and network patching.
• Scripting experience and demonstrated support for Windows & Linux environments.

Would be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired):

• Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in a research-focused IT role or similar.
• Additional certifications in network or systems management.
