POSITION SUMMARY

The Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing and supporting the technology needs of OVME including the Microsoft 365 suite, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and web applications. This role will ensure the smooth operation of IT systems across headquarters and multiple studio locations, manage technology vendors, and lead IT projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The Systems Admin will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Management:
Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications, including Exchange Online, Azure AD, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
Implement and maintain security protocols and compliance for Microsoft 365 applications.
Provide training and support to end-users on Microsoft 365 tools and features.

POS System Support:
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and support of POS systems across all studio locations.
Troubleshoot and resolve POS system issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with the finance department to ensure accurate transaction processing and reporting.

Web Applications:
Manage and support web applications used by the organization, ensuring optimal performance and security.

Vendor Management:
Manage relationship Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to optimize costs and services.
Evaluate vendor performance and provide feedback to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

IT Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems.
Ensure data backup, recovery, and security measures are in place and regularly tested.
Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Project Management:
Lead IT projects to enhance technology infrastructure and support organizational growth.
Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure successful execution and delivery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.

Technical Support:
Provide technical support to headquarters and studio locations, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
Manage the IT helpdesk and ensure timely resolution of support tickets.
Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential issues proactively.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on Microsoft 365, POS systems, and web applications.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite, including administration and security best practices.
Experience with POS systems, including implementation and support (Zenoti is a plus).
Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, PMP, or ITIL are a plus.
