What We're Looking For: The Bureau of Information Technology Services is currently looking for a Systems Administrator to provide technical support, design, consultation, and business analysis for hardware and software services. The ideal candidate is someone with prior systems administration experience who enjoys working collaboratively with others and coming up with and improving technical processes and standards.

This position is eligible for remote work. ETF offers hybrid remote/office work. If interested in remote work, this can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Position Summary
As a Systems Administrator, you will be part of a dedicated team that plays a critical role in ETF's modernization efforts. You will work in a hybrid-cloud environment and be involved with providing support and technical expertise for various technical services and platforms. You will collaborate with technical staff and management at ETF and participate in statewide committees working on shared IT infrastructure system related issues. You will also be responsible for designing, managing, and configuring endpoint management tools for application deployment, Windows desktops images, and patching of both the operating system and applications.

Salary Information
This position is in classification IS Technical Services Specialist (pay schedule/range 07-33), with an annual salary of $83,200.00 - $108,992.00, plus excellent benefits.
Pay for current and new state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan in effect at the time of hire.

Job Details
ETF offers hybrid remote/office work. If interested in hybrid remote/office work, this can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. The selected employee(s) must report to ETF's office on the first day of employment and occasionally for onsite meetings. In addition, the employee may need to report to ETF on short notice as operational and project needs require. All employees are expected to be headquartered and work within the state of Wisconsin.
ETF does not sponsor work visas. Any appointment made will be contingent on the applicant being able to prove valid status to work in the United States.

- Providing server infrastructure and application technical support in a hybrid cloud environment
- Remediating server and application security vulnerabilities in a hybrid cloud environment
- Partnering with stakeholders, including business teams and technical groups, to deliver effective solutions
- Implementing, improving, or designing processes and/or procedures to enhance customer experience
Highly Qualified candidates will also have experience with some of the following :
- IT Service Management, ITIL or DevOps (AWS, Azure, Google) certification(s)
- Supporting telephony solutions
- Working with enterprise hybrid-cloud observability tools for host or applications
