NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) is seeking a Systems Analyst Expert

Day to Day task include:
  • Studies the software application domain and prepares software requirements and specification documents
  • Acts as a liaison between software users and software developers
  • Communicates user requirements to developers, including general system design
  • Coordinates changes to the software system
  • Performs unit and integration testing of programs
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to other staff

Requested Qualifications:
  • 84 months experience managing multiple entity project teams from development through to a successful production implementation of all software and hardware tasks..
  • 84 months experience with multi entity project teams in the development through successful implementation of multi-year application development and infrastructure projects. Must have demonstrated experience using industry standard tools and techniques in a Business Analyst role.
  • 60 months experience developing and documenting complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure rollout projects in a government environment that includes utilizing industry standard system life cycle methodologies, working directly with cross agency staff to implement a project.
  • 24 months demonstrated experience of effective team building, facilitation and presentation skills, and the ability to work and communicate with diverse groups.
  • College Level Degree in a business or technology discipline.

Work hours and location:
  • Full time role with engagement length of 12 months
  • Daily work hours: Between 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and 5:30 PM, with 12 hour lunch.
  • Physical office location: 40 North Pearl Street, Albany, NY 12207
  • Telecommuting options: 50%
