Overview
As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating threats to AFRL systems and networks. You will work with a team of security professionals to develop and implement strategies to protect against cyberattacks and other security threats. You will also be responsible for staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies and for conducting ongoing assessments of the DoD's security posture.
Responsibilities
Administering and upgrading enterprise Active Directory (Azure and On prem) Coordinating actions across Systems and Network operations for projects and tickets. Working troubleshooting tickets for enterprise and core services. Assisting other IT admin teams in troubleshooting domain level issues. Assisting Networking teams in troubleshooting issues. Patching and implementing fixes for site vulnerabilities.
Qualifications
Standard DOD requirements for IAT positions. 4+ years Red Had Linux Server experience. Red Hat Satellite or other central Red Hat management experience preferred. 4+ years Windows Server experience. Microsoft Certified System Administrator preferred In-depth knowledge of PKI, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory services. Knowledge of basic Network Operations and Infrastructure. Firewall Rules ACLs Routing Tables Cisco DNAC Experience preferred. Palo Alto Prisma Access and Panorama Experience preferred. Ability to complex problem solve independently or while working with others. Ability to follow directions and communicate effectively and professionally. Critical thinking skills Ability to work on tickets and projects simultaneously.
