Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Analyst to manage and maintain our enterprise firewall infrastructure and security systems. This position requires full on-site reporting and participation in rotating weekly on-call shifts.

Essential Responsibilities

• Manage and support corporate and enclave firewalls, application delivery controllers, RADIUS, and RSA authentication systems
• Develop and implement firewall changes while ensuring alignment with cybersecurity best practices
• Lead complex projects in a fast-paced environment, including disaster recovery planning and testing
• Provide design consultation for firewall implementation and configuration
• Deliver third-level support for network troubleshooting
• Create and maintain technical documentation for first and second-level support teams
• Collaborate with customers and vendors to resolve issues and implement solutions
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation with team members

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3-5 years' experience in enterprise IT environment
• Expert knowledge of:
  • Firewall administration, upgrades, backups, configuration, and diagnostics
  • Authentication services ( policies, RADIUS, RSA)
  • IPSEC VPNs across multiple vendor platforms (Cisco, FortiGate, etc.)
  • IDS/IPS profiles and implementation
  • Network diagnostics and security best practices
  • VIPs and NAT for external interfaces
  • SNMP monitoring and alert profiles
• Demonstrated experience with:
  • Firewall image upgrade planning and implementation
  • Vulnerability assessment and hardware hardening
  • Logical and virtual interface configuration
• Strong project management capabilities
• Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complex projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with:
  • systems (RSA, RADIUS)
  • Centralized Management tools (Cisco Systems Manager, FortiManager)
  • Cloud systems integration (e.g., Azure)
  • NGFW Threat Management Tools (web-filtering, application filtering)
  • Scripting and automation
