Are you an experienced electrical systems professional with a passion for delivering safe, high-performance transit infrastructure? We're looking for a Systems Electrical Inspector to support oversight on our Purple Line Light Rail Project.

Are you an experienced electrical systems professional with a passion for delivering safe, high-performance transit infrastructure? We're looking for a Systems Electrical Inspector to support oversight on our Purple Line Light Rail Project.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide owner oversight of the electrical installation of light rail systems in compliance with project specifications and the National Electrical Code.
- Review the installation and on-site execution of electrical systems.
- Assist with coordination and execution of electrical system commissioning and testing activities.
- Monitor and document all electrical systems work and ensure accurate records are maintained.
- Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Adapt to schedule changes and work flexible hours including nights and weekends as required to oversee system testing.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting cross-functional team efforts.
CORE REQUIREMENTS:
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and abilities:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
- 5 years of experience in electrical system engineering, testing and commissioning, verification and validation, or maintenance.
- Working knowledge of traction power and electrical systems.
- Able to walk over rough and uneven terrain; stand for up to 12 hours a day on occasion; and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and twisting; using hands to grasp and reach; raising hands above the head; sitting; climbing; and balancing.
- Able to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Experience in rail transit electrical systems.
- Background in troubleshooting complex interfacing systems.
- Familiarity with applicable codes, industry standards, and project documentation procedures.
