Oversees engineering activities of an organization's information systems. Plans, designs, develops, evaluates, tests, and integrates systems infrastructure, including the implementation and design of hardware and software.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Assist with the planning and engineering of the organization's systems infrastructure
- Coordinate the work of engineers on large and complex projects
- Evaluate the implementation and design of hardware and software
- Identify departmental needs and make suggestions regarding technical direction
- Assist in solving scientific and engineering problems
- Monitor the performance of systems
- Rely on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Limited amount of creativity and latitude is required
- May provide information to others and appropriately shares information and knowledge to achieve desired goals
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 3-5 years of related experience
