Description:
QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer to join our team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD to support our C5ISR Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) Division contract.

Duties:
- Assist the Government with creating, editing, and reviewing technical documentation to include, but not limited to, program plans, acquisition documentation, specifications, manuals, technical guides, and memos.
- Provide technical support to and coordination with functional areas/matrix support groups (i.e., architecture, systems engineering, design, testing, configuration management, logistics, producibility, integrated product/process development, quality assurance, reliability, maintainability, fielding, training, operation, maintenance, etc.) as applicable to individual programs.
- Analyze program technical products (drawings, reports, product specifications) and perform technical studies/assessments as required.
- Perform non-recurring engineering studies and analyses to evaluate the viability of potential solutions to various technical problems, such as how systems might be integrated. Tasks may include:
- Supporting the creation of designs and diagrams for various development efforts.
- Designing an architecture allowing for cross-domain tasking of higher-level Electronic Warfare (EW) assets and dissemination of data in support of NAVWAR missions.
- Designing an architecture to bring Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) Systems Architecture (SA) data across different systems.
- Provide subject matter expertise with installing, configuring, and operating Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool (EWPMT) as version updates are periodically released.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Preferred Knowledge of and experience with Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), Radiofrequency (RF), Electronic Warfare (EW), and PM Mission Command, a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Java, a plus.
- Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Required Clearance:
- ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret
Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in related field required.
- At least ten (10) years of experience as a systems engineer and/or in a related field.
Travel:
Less than 10% travel is expected for this position.
