Description:
As Systems Engineering support at OPS Consulting, you will utilize your expertise in the science of condensed matter or solid state physics, heterostructure quantum devices and cryogenics, and modeling & simulation of quantum inspired devices to provide analysis and technical advice/assistance to the customer. You will work closely with customer engineer and technical teams to facilitate complex technology development. Responsibilities may include:
Simulating small scale electrical systems
Simulating medium-scale behavioral systems
Evaluating EM noise characteristics
Reviewing experiment and test plan proposals
Analyzing and interpreting quantum system test results
Basic Qualifications:
Three (3) years' experience with an Intelligence Community or HPC Development Program.
Fifteen (15) years' experience in technical roles for Government or Industry customer
Ten (I 0) years' experience as a Systems Engineer supporting programs to develop and field large-scale systems to include expertise in systems architecture, requirements analysis, system documentation, system evaluation and process execution and evaluation.
Knowledge of SIGINT mission systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
Required Skills:
Experience developing technical plans for complex capability development
Demonstrated expertise in test plans, procedures, and test result analysis
Experience writing, reviewing, and presenting technical documentation at the program level
Experience with system design and requirements management
Experience overseeing technical reviews
Desired Skills:
Masters or PhD in Quantum Physics, Engineering, or quantum technology related discipline.
Experience in one or more areas of quantum technology.
Strong written and oral communication skills
Security Clearance: A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
