Systems Engineer

This position is located in York Nebraska and cannot be done remotely.

The Systems Engineer will provide technical, operational and day to day support for the Technology Department and Data Centers for Cornerstone Bank as well as Client Banks. Will provide unmatched customer service by building and maintaining strong customer and employee relationships and exhibit and uphold Cornerstone Bank culture, core values and mission.

Essential Functions of the job include:

As a member of the Cornerstone Bank Network Systems team, you will be responsible to help support the systems, servers and infrastructure, as well as researching and delivering new software to meet user needs.

• Assist in the installation of equipment and software as needed to keep projects on schedule.
• Assist in the administration, maintenance and configuration of Microsoft server roles such as Active Directory, DNS, File and Print Servers, DHCP.
• Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of all on premise and remote hardware including Cisco switches and routers, multi-vendor firewalls and Virtual Machine hosts.
• Help administrate Microsoft applications such as SQL, Exchange, Sharepoint.
• Help administrate and create Virtual Servers as well as support the Citrix XenDesktop environment.
• Ensure data continuity by administrating File and Image level backups.
• Assist the Information Security Department with patching and vulnerability mitigation.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Minimum of 5 years appropriate job experience, focused on Windows Server administration and application support.
• A degree in business, math, computer science, information systems, system engineering or related technical field are helpful, but not required.
• Strong communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy.
• Preferred experience of working with Nutanix AHV or other hypervisors
• Preferred experience with Cohesity Backup solutions
• Experience working in a Data Center environment helpful, but not required.
• Understanding of Layer 2 and 3 Networking preferred, but not required
• Industry related certifications welcomed
• Ability to interact effectively with other bank personnel, management and co-workers.
• Organizational skills, ability to prioritize work assignments, sound judgment, courtesy, tact and diplomacy.
• General banking knowledge and experience helpful but not required.
