Systems Engineer

Position Summary: The systems engineer is a crucial member of the engineering team, tasked with analyzing production requirements and specifications to develop optimal equipment systems for quotation and supply.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze customer communications and specifications against company capabilities.
• Develop equipment configurations to optimize production line footprint, maintainability, labor savings, and ROI.
• Create production charts, layout drawings, and equipment specifications.
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date production line layouts and project tracking documents.
• Visit customer facilities to review project details and verify information.
• Prepare installation drawings and submit to the installation department.

Requirements:

• BS in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience with CAD (2D and 3D Solidworks preferred).
• Experience with material handling systems and Excel.
• Knowledge of fans and blowers a plus.
