We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Custom Solutions System Engineer to join our team within the Digital Workplace Collaboration organization. As a key member of our Custom Solutions team, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that drive business growth and innovation. With a focus on Agile software development, you will play a critical role in delivering custom software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders.
What you'll be doing:
Execute the full Agile software lifecycle process of a custom software solution, from requirements gathering to delivery
Synthesize requirements from interviews with customers and stakeholders to inform software development
Collaborate with a team of software developers to estimate level of effort and submit proposals for work
Drive the execution of completed software solutions through development, testing, and delivery
Maintain continuous communication with customers and stakeholders to ensure their needs are met

Who are you: You are a highly motivated and experienced system engineer with a strong background in Agile software development and a passion for delivering custom software solutions. You have excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, stakeholders, and software development teams. You are a creative problem solver with a strong technical foundation and a drive to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
