Description:
ARES seeks an experienced and energetic System Integration Analyst to directly support the modernization of the space launch ranges, meeting mission providing range capabilities, and supporting the Assured Access to Space (AATS) mission. The overarching purpose of the program is to perform system modernization and digital transformation projects that will enable the acceleration of the space launch cadence to enable the Spaceport of the future. Interested applicants need to possess experience and a thorough understanding of launch range operations. This position is located at Vandenberg SFB, CA.
JOB DESCRIPTION: Translates the clients business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. May include analysis of transition planning, intelligence information requirements, and may develop architecture baselines. Assists with and leads development of integration, migration plans/schedules. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites, and can oversee production of integrated systems. May support ISR and C4ISR programs/clients/systems. Supports business process improvements or systems analysis for missions, systems, and fiscal requirements. Complete understanding and wide application of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable and consistent with organization objectives. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts. Represents organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
