Description:

SMX is seeking a Tactical Systems Analyst Subject Matter Expert to join our company in support of the USMC's Tomahawk Office located at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.

The Tactical Systems Analyst SME is responsible for developing and refining Tomahawk Missile requirements while performing system and program analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and advance Tomahawk Missile program requirements
  • Collaborate with developers to create software, system requirements, and related documentation
  • Participate in test documentation, scenario development, and test tool adjustment
  • Work with OEM to support system integration

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Clearance Required: Secret
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of aircrew experience
  • Experience with strike planning and weapon employment
  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to correctly prioritize workload to maintain schedules, deadlines, and standards on assigned projects

Desired Experience/Skills
  • Experience with various organizations (i.e. Operational, Test, Training), program offices, and tactical centers of excellence

The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications. The proposed salary for this position is:

$124,000-$186,500 USD
