DEPARTMENT: Human Resources

REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President of Human Resources

SALARY RANGE: $85,000 -- $95,000 + Bonus Eligibility!

FLSA: Exempt

PURPOSE

The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for managing all internal and external recruiting resources and efforts. This will include club level employees as well as corporate employees. In this role you will be responsible for updating recruiting procedures, leading the recruitment team, and tracking recruiting metrics. They implement new sourcing methods, review recruitment software, and advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques. Additionally, they stay updated on labor legislation, participate in job fairs, and build professional networks to attract potential candidates. Their role is crucial in effectively managing the recruitment process and ensuring the company hires the right talent.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Build and implement scalable strategies to attract, recruit, and retain top-tier talent.
  • Update current and design new recruiting procedures (e.g. job application and onboarding processes)
  • Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance
  • Develop and execute a compelling employer branding strategy that reflects our culture, mission, and growth opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for high-volume roles.
  • Keep track of recruiting metrics
  • Implement new sourcing methods (e.g. social recruiting and Boolean searches)
  • Evaluate and implement recruiting technologies and tools to streamline processes, from sourcing to onboarding.
  • Leverage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and data analytics to improve hiring efficiency and outcomes.
  • Research and choose job advertising options
  • Advise hiring managers on interviewing techniques
  • Coordinate with department managers to forecast future hiring needs
  • Stay up to date on labor legislation and inform recruiters and managers about changes in regulations
  • Participate in job fairs and career events
  • Build the company's professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges and other partners


QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
  • 5 years of recruiting and/or HR Experience
  • Proven work experience as a Recruiting Manager, Recruitment Consultant or Recruiting Coordinator
  • Proven expertise in employment branding and candidate engagement strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and HR databases
  • Knowledge of labor legislation
  • Experience with (phone and in-person) interviews, candidate screening and evaluation
  • Familiarity with social media and other professional networks (like GitHub)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
  • Ability to collaborate and work with all levels of the organization


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to work in club offices; move about club floors and rooms; review, revise, and create club paperwork; communicate with employees, members, and the public.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel by car and airplane up to 10-20% of the time.
  • Ability to communicate via phone.
  • Ability to access and operate company computer systems including preparing documents, entering data into computer system, and reading reports from a computer database or email system.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Work is typically performed in a normal business office environment.
  • While performing the club-visit duties of this job, the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule to support the needs of the business.
