The Role
To support the growth of our business, we are seeking a Talent Acquisition Manager reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent. This role will be an office-based hybrid position in either our Christchurch or Calgary office. As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will oversee the talent acquisition function for all positions within Seequent. You will lead a team of talent acquisition specialists, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to attract and hire candidates. This role requires operational excellence, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and implement a talent acquisition strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
- Management of agency engagement, agreements, and approvals.
- Collaborate with leadership to understand business goals and workforce needs.
- Lead and mentor recruiters on best practice, helping to fostering a high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance on recruitment process and utilize data and analytics to measure and report on recruitment metrics.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Promote the organization's employer brand to attract top talent.
- Work in a global team, recruiting a variety of roles across the business.
- Stay updated on relevant employment laws and ensure compliance in the recruitment process.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 10 years of experience in talent acquisition - including full-cycle, high volume talent acquisition within industry as well as 3 to 5 years of agency talent acquisition.
- Experienced in leading talent acquisition teams, with the ability to influence and motivate them to achieve goals.
- Experience using an applicant tracking system and LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Proven expertise in implementing creative and innovative proactive candidate sourcing strategies and techniques, with a successful history of identifying and engaging passive candidates.
- Customer-focused, able to build and maintain relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and HR colleagues.
- Thorough knowledge of talent acquisition, including related practices, tools, trends, job boards, human rights, and relevant legislation.
- A self-starter who can work with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
