About the position

This key role will lead the charge in identifying and attracting, top talent to fuel our company's growth and offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organizational success by building a high-performance workforce.

In this role, you will provide strategic recruiting support and consultation to specific functional business groups for Mobile Cooling Solutions - that includes 3 brands - Igloo, Cool Gear and Dometic. You will be the senior recruiting expert and talent partner, interfacing with business and technical thought leaders, to collaborate on recruiting strategies and solutions for vacancies. You will also be responsible for interacting for potential candidates and engaging with the same public using key digital channels available partnering with our marketing teams.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide full cycle recruiting support and consultation to hiring groups to create and recommend effective recruiting strategies as a Talent Advisor.
  • Drive specialized recruitment programs to address unique needs and spikes in hiring volume and slate/pipeline development.
  • Develop passive candidate pipelines through name generation, networking, cold calling, complex internet searches and research.
  • Engage, manage and develop recruiting team in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
  • Effectively build talent communities through various channels; social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Blogs).
  • Proactively research and evaluate new sourcing and research ideas and methods to create innovative sourcing strategies.
  • Manages recruiting and onboarding tools, systems, and vendors.
  • Develop influential and ongoing relationships with the hiring managers, ensuring that recruitment is integrated into the business unit, understands their business and recruitment needs and fulfills open positions in a timely manner.
  • Ensure a seamless best in class candidate experience during the recruitment process.
  • Partner with HR team to drive talent planning/market pricing and to align staffing initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain the business' I-9 compliance program.
  • Recommends continuous improvement to practices, processes, and policies to advance the Talent function. Contributes to the design and development of new talent solutions and assists in their implementation.
  • Promote Employer Brand by attending career fairs and developing relationships with colleges and local organizations.
  • Participates in and contributes to cross-affiliate programs and activities primarily as they relate to staffing initiatives.
  • Assures that all departments adhere to EEO/AAP policies, procedures and related government laws.
  • Maintains working knowledge of federal and state legislation that impacts the various areas of the HR function to ensure practices and policies are in compliance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

A suitable background would be a solid experience within the following qualifications and experiences:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of four (4) years of related business experience at a professional level. Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience. Experience with cross-functional and cross-affiliate activities and projects.
  • Language skills: Excellent English skills both verbal and written. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees and customers.
  • Physical Demands: Office and production environment; able to move around the plant/manufacturing environment, walk long distances, and climb stairs.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Strong Word & Advanced Excel Skills. Advanced data manipulation, spreadsheet skills and report writing.

Job Knowledge and Skill:

Previous experience in a staffing or consultative role, with some human resource knowledge a plus. Ability to understand business needs and offer solution alternatives to business users. Strong project management skills - self-motivated, quick learner, able to manage multiple assignments concurrently. Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment. Strong analytical skills and research capabilities. Strong written, oral communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage strongly with customers/stakeholders, create impact and win their confidence.
