The position at a glance
As part of the human resources team, the Talent Acquisition partner is responsible for the full cycle recruitment process while providing exceptional service to internal clients and is an active member of a dedicated Human Resources team that brings life to the Human Resources Strategic Plan. You will develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies designed to fulfill BNP Paribas staffing needs. You will be responsible for implementing recruiting strategies, sourcing, identifying and hiring a diverse pool of talents in Canada and internationally.

The position at a glance
As part of the human resources team, the Talent Acquisition partner is responsible for the full cycle recruitment process while providing exceptional service to internal clients and is an active member of a dedicated Human Resources team that brings life to the Human Resources Strategic Plan. You will develop and implement recruiting plans and strategies designed to fulfill BNP Paribas staffing needs. You will be responsible for implementing recruiting strategies, sourcing, identifying and hiring a diverse pool of talents in Canada and internationally.
In detail
- Effectively manage the full-cycle recruitment process by finding the right people who will contribute to the success of the Bank.
- Collaborate with the hiring managers to review job descriptions
- Screen resumes, coordinate assignment reviews, schedule and conduct interviews (including via phone, video, and in person)
- Accurately prepare and present employment offers to candidates and maintain all documentation throughout the hiring process
- Create a seamless and positive experience for hiring manager and prospective candidates
- Create and circulate the job postings to ensure all postings are in line with BNPP practices/policies
- Follow a rigorous control process to respect the established policies and procedures.
- Source, organize, and attend career fairs or other events that will showcase BNP Paribas as a top employer.
- Proactively source talent by leveraging social media (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.) and build a pipeline of strong, diverse candidates (both active and passive)
- Act as a brand ambassador for BNP Paribas; educate candidates on our culture, career growth, benefits and the many advantages to working with us.
- Keep abreast of market conditions, competition, best practices and trends that could impact hiring practices
- Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract new talent
- Work with the immigration coordinator and the coordinator to initiate the onboarding process
- Take part in talent Acquisition projects such as ATS improvement/implementation, DE&I Initiatives, Talent Acquisition trainings etc...
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree in Administration, Human Resources or equivalent
- 5 years of recruitment within a corporate or consulting recruiting environment
- Excellent writing and communication skills and time management
- Recruiting and interviewing skills
- Relevant experience in an advisory and influential role
- Ability to promote Talent Acquisition best practices
- Cross-cultural sensitivity supports workplace diversity
- Team player who is self-motivated; proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Strong proficiency in all Microsoft applications specifically Excel is required
- Experience with HR databases (Peoplesoft) and TALEO Applicant Tracking Systems
- Familiarity with multiple cultures and business practices and finance institutions a plus.
- Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply.Knowledge of French and English is required.
