In This Role, You Will:
  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for positions including Operations, Research & Development, Quality, Marketing, Market Access, Finance & Accounting, and more.
  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: In collaboration with the Director, Talent Acquisition, develop and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract top talent for various roles across the company.
  • Sourcing: Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to attract candidates using various platforms such as LinkedIn, job boards, industry events, and professional networks.
  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct preliminary interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and alignment with Calyxo's culture.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and create tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Job Postings: Write and post compelling job descriptions on appropriate platforms and manage the company's online presence related to recruiting.
  • Recruitment Metrics: Track and analyze recruitment metrics and KPIs, including time-to-fill, and source of hire, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a positive candidate experience for all candidates throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Compliance: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws and Calyxo's policies.

Who You Will Report To:
  • Director, Talent Acquisition

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree, or relevant experience, in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably within the medical device or technology industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a wide range of roles, particularly technical and R&D positions.
  • Proven knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment marketing tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Work location: Onsite/Hybrid/Remote
  • Travel: Travel to the home office in Pleasanton, CA, required 1x per quarter.
  • Compliance with relevant county, state, and Federal rules regarding vaccinations.

We also offer a compensation plan as follows:
  • Competitive salary with a base salary range of $130,000 - $150,000 for San Francisco Bay Area and $120,000 nationally
  • Stock options - ownership and a stake in growing a mission-driven company
