What You'll Do
As the Director of Talent Enablement at Slalom, you will lead the strategic development and execution of our technical talent enablement programs across multiple global alliances. You will oversee certification initiatives, alliance partnerships, and curriculum development, ensuring our team remains at the cutting edge of technical expertise. This role requires a visionary leader who is passionate about developing talent and maximizing ROI on enablement efforts through certifications, partnerships, and innovative learning programs.

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For Director, the base salary pay range is $169,000 to $270,000 and the targeted base range is $215,000-$230,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.

What You'll Do
As the Director of Talent Enablement at Slalom, you will lead the strategic development and execution of our technical talent enablement programs across multiple global alliances. You will oversee certification initiatives, alliance partnerships, and curriculum development, ensuring our team remains at the cutting edge of technical expertise. This role requires a visionary leader who is passionate about developing talent and maximizing ROI on enablement efforts through certifications, partnerships, and innovative learning programs.
Certification and Voucher Program Management
- Oversee and manage large-scale voucher programs across multiple alliances, including Snowflake, AWS, Salesforce, DataBricks, Google, Microsoft, and AI certifications.
- Ensure timely follow-up, tracking, and reporting on large scale, multi-alliance certification progress
- Drive certification pushes, ensuring employees are up to date with industry-relevant certifications and effectively track the ROI of each effort.
- Present on certification initiatives during key internal calls such as bench calls, alliance calls, market calls, and GT calls.
Alliance Enablement Partnerships
- Lead the creation and management of technical capability cohorts in collaboration with major alliances such as AWS and Salesforce.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with key alliance partners, focusing on enablement initiatives, securing free vouchers, training programs, and other resources to enhance employee certification and development.
- Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize the effectiveness of talent enablement efforts, including attending internal and external meetings with partners.
Technical and Partner Curriculum Development
- You will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining strategic relationships with multiple vendor alliances, ensuring alignment and enabling success through collaborative enablement initiatives.
- Oversee the development of specific technical curriculums for various partners, including the creation of AI technical roadmaps, AI Security development, and Agentforce Security initiatives.
- Work on partner-specific technical initiatives, such as DevOps, to align learning paths with strategic business goals and alliance requirements.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Education, Computer Science, Business) or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in Alliance Management and Technical Training
- Proven experience in a leadership role within talent enablement or technical learning and development.
- Understanding of technical certifications and enablement best practices, with experience across a broad range of technologies and platforms (Snowflake, AWS, Salesforce, DataBricks, Google, Microsoft).
- Strong ability to build relationships with partners and secure enablement resources (e.g., vouchers, training).
- Experience in developing technical curriculums and learning paths for emerging technologies like AI and security.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with experience presenting to various stakeholder groups.
