Task Manager
The Defense Health Agency (DHA) is seeking a highly experienced Task Manager to lead a dedicated team in executing critical projects. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for/provide assistance with hiring/interviewing candidates with appropriate skills
  • Upkeep of skillset for supporting legacy products, modernization efforts, and other tasks to meet Organization Mission, Vision, and Strategic goals.
  • Assist with identification of positions to fill and manage the process for all hiring actions through the Retention and Recruitment Metrics Report.
  • Coordinate with military Personnel Services Division for military billets including (but not limited to) backfills and new requirements.
  • Assist with identification of positions to fill and manage the process for all military hiring action.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
  • 5-10 years as an active Task Manager leading/managing a team of similar size and complexity.
  • Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated with high attention to detail.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in any related field.

Other Considerations: applicants will be subject to a background investigation. Individual's primary workstation is in an office area. The noise level in this environment is low to moderate. Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 80% of the time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc. Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of the time.
