This position will be responsible for management and support of all tax matters at Kimmeridge from portfolio companies to Funds to Kimmeridge partners in close collaboration with Third-Party advisors and Kimmeridge Finance team. The position will work directly with portfolio companies, Fund managers, and Kimmeridge Partners on tax matters; underneath Head of Tax. The position offers a unique Tax experience with a window into management decisions and initiatives.

During each fiscal year of employment, employees will be eligible to earn a discretionary annual incentive bonus, based on company and individual performance targets.

Responsibilities
- Manage the tax partnership workpapers, allocations, and tax filings for various portfolio companies, private equity funds, general partnerships, management companies, and high-net worth individuals.
- Preparation and management of tax projections and planning for various private equity funds and management companies.
- Prepare and present quarterly reports for Kimmeridge Partners to provide guidance, insight, and impacts on quarterly tax payments.
- Provide tax planning opportunities for Kimmeridge Partners where applicable.
- Manage all tax payments and filings for all Kimmeridge entities and Kimmeridge Partners in collaboration with third party tax advisors.
- Monitoring changes in tax law and evaluation of opportunities for Kimmeridge in collaboration with the investment team, finance team, and general counsel.
- Support all finance team initiatives and workstreams.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Law or another business-related field.
- CPA license (or equivalent) required.
- 3+ years investment management/financial services partnership taxation experience required.
- Individual taxation experience is a plus.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Available and willing to be in the office 5 days/week.
- Can-do attitude with an appetite for problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making.
- Thorough understanding of traditional private equity fund waterfalls.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex information.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to work effectively to meet business deadlines.
