- Income Tax, VAT, Withholding taxes, Dividends Tax, Carbon Tax, Transfer Pricing, Permanent Establishments and new requirements as they arise.
- International tax management:
- Developing and implementing tax-efficient strategies to minimize the company's global tax burden while remaining compliant with relevant laws.
- Ensuring the company complies with tax laws and regulations in all countries where it operates. This includes preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring timely filings, and adherence to local tax requirements.
- Full accounting and tax functionality for Permanent Establishments
- Manage activities related to transfer pricing.
- Handling transfer pricing analysis and reporting e.g., Local file.
- Providing advice on transfer pricing implications of new business initiatives.
- Proficient management of local and international tax audits, ensuring thorough oversight and compliance.
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and reporting of taxes, including deferred tax.
- Staying abreast of changes in legislation and structuring RDM's taxes lawfully to minimize the future tax liability.
- Provide guidance to management on all tax implications of existing and planned business, to mitigate tax risk, including double taxation.
- Liaising with tax authorities, Group Tax, consultants and auditors.
- Prepare and submit Research & Development tax incentive applications and progress reports to the Minister of Science and Technology.
- Compile and submit applications and other documentation required to obtain access to special tax allowances and other financial government incentives.
- Update and amend policies as per tax amendments, including communicating all tax and policy changes to all relevant stakeholders.
- Ad hoc projects / tasks as identified by management.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
Qualification
- Honours or Postgraduate Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
- CA (SA) and articles at reputable audit firm.
- Member of SAICA.
- At least 5 years post-articles tax experience.

- Cross-border transactions tax experience
- International tax experience
- Transfer pricing experience
